Evil Dead Trap(1988 / Unrated)
An interesting late 80s Japanese horror flick entirely different in style than the current crop of Japanese horror (i.e. Ringu, The Eye, the Grudge, etc...). See no american movie studio would touch this flick with a 10 foot pole.
The plot involves the hostess of a TV talk show and her crew to head out to a abandoned military base to investigate a possible snuff film which was mailed to the TV studio. This "snuff" film is the best part of the movie and contains a particularrly compelling piercing of a human eyeball!
So your usual horror movie shenanigans take place as the crew splits up and eventually are killed off one by one by a masked man in fatigues. There is also an overly long rape scene which is just entirely silly (if a rape scence can be called silly). Finally there's a mysterious stranger who is on the property "looking for his sister" and seems helpful, but may not be who seems!
I'll save the awesomely bad climax for you to discover on your own.. but I'll throw out two key phrases to wet your appetite: "evil fetus" & "random indoor lightning". This movie is nicely gory, and very silly and campy. The only thing that brings the movie down are the incredibly long and drawn out scenes. This could have been a 5 Bruce Campbell head short film... instead it's a 3 Bruce Campbell head full length feature. I still recommend it though!
